INSTITUT FÜR QUALIFIZIERUNG UND VERNETZUNG IN EUROPA EV (EQUALITA)

Institute equalita was founded in 1999 as a succession organisation of Institute Grüner Zweig, which was established in 1990. Their main intention is the consultation and qualification of SME, particularly in ecological branches like organic farming and trade. Another objective is the development and management of international projects, especially in the frame of EC programmes. A further important request is it to promote co-operation and networking between partners from CEECs and ECs. Therefore Institute equalita and the forerunner institute carried out projects in different EC programmes, e.g. within the different PHARE sub programs like LIEN and Partnership, CAP information program, Leonardo, ESF and others.

At present Institute equalita accomplishes in Germany consulting and qualification projects for organic food retailers and their employees in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein and Baden-Württemberg (in the framework EC ESF programs ) and consultation about economy, personnel management, employee and customer orientation for SMEs, associations and NGOs in North Rhine-Westphalia. Important tools implemented in the frame of these qualification activities institute equalita are eLearning modules and blended learning instruments.

The experts of institute equalita have analysed – together with their partners (universities, institutes for vocational education, professional and trade associations) - the needs and background of the target groups and developed the concepts, curricula and tools for the eLearning system. Further on they have developed concepts for the training of the teachers and tutors. The know how and experience of this activities will be available for the here proposed project.
