STZ Sächsisches Technologie Zentrum gGmbH

The STZ Sächsisches Technologie Zentrum gGmbH offers vocational training courses as well as further education and operational qualification courses in the fields of metal working, electrical engineering, information- and telecommunications (I.&T), commercial professions and in the field of welding engineering. Furthermore, 600 apprentices are trained in the STZ facilities by experienced teaching personnel.

Our approach to the development of educational concepts is focused on the individual needs of the enterprises, that means that such concepts are developed in cooperation between the companies and our institution, a procedure that guarantees a custom-tailored training concept for the company. In the field of training, the STZ cooperates within a network of 70 industrial enterprises, and with 250 companies.

The STZ gGmbH closely works together with institutions of higher education and universities. This allows us to integrate latest research results into the training programmes, and to offer latest technologies to the companies.

Far-reaching contacts with partners abroad complement the range of activities. There are projects with partners in Portugal, France, Great Britain, Finland, Greece, Czech Republic and other countries. Tight contacts also exist with countries such as Chile, Peru, Brazil, Brunei and China. The STZ gGmbH is experienced in education and development projects, e.g. for EQUAL, Interreg, Leonardo da Vinci.
